Welcome to #VoltecPower!

This is a fan group dedicated to the video game Pulseman, created by Game Freak and released in 1994 on the SEGA Mega Drive. Pulseman was only available in Japan until it was made available as an exclusive game on the SEGA Channel, then later released internationally for the Wii Virtual Console in 2009. It was one of the last Mega Drive games, and the last game released by Game Freak before they started their Pokemon series. Many Pulseman references appear in Pokemon, one of the most notable being Pikachu's signature move, Volt Tackle (Volteccer in Japan), which is derived from Pulseman's special move, Volteccer.

Besides the game itself, which is available in the Wii Shop for 900 points (100 more than most Genesis titles for being an import), the only other official Pulseman media which exists are three music releases: Electrace Pulseman (Stereotype, 1994), Pulseman (various artists, 1995), and Mega Drive: Last Action Heroes (Pulseman game OST with Ristar, Comix Zone, and Virtua Racing, 2010).

Download a PDF of the Pulseman game manual (in Japanese) here!

1) Only Pulseman-related art/fics allowed (of course)!
2) Pulse has done a good job dodging Rule 34 for over a decade, let's continue to keep it clean here at least!
3) Any artwork submitted should end up primarily in the Featured folder. It will then get sorted from there into one of the other gallery folders depending on the content:

Pulseman - anything with Pulseman as the main focus.
Beatrice - anything with Beatrice as the main focus.
Pulse and Riche - anything with the two of them together.
Veil - anything with Veil as the main focus.
Doc Waruyama and Galaxy Gang - anything with these guys as the main focus.
Fight Scenes - any artwork depicting a fight or battle between any characters.
Comics and Manga - any artwork laid out in sequential form, like a comic strip.
Sprite Art and Animations - any sprites, GIFs, Flash animations, etc. of any characters.
Wallpapers - just in case your artwork is a screen-size wallpaper.
Crossovers - any Pulseman character fanart with a non-Pulseman character included.
Fancharacters - your Pulseman fancharacter art goes here.
Photos and Misc. - photos of crafts/sculptures, or random drawings/sketches that you don't think match up with any of the other categories. Stamps go here.

4) If you think your picture belongs in a different folder, don't hesitate to send a note to the group or to Gryphon-HB and let them know what folder you'd rather it be displayed in.

Since Megaupload went down, the link to the PDF of the Pulseman game manual went with it.

I've reuploaded the file on 2shared… and updated the link in the group description.

Also a friendly reminder: Pulse's birthday is May 30, this Wednesday!
